Let us start by saying 5 Stars is simply not adequate to convey how well "Caring Transitions Beach Cities" and "Time4Change Real Estate" met all our needs and exceeded our expectations. It's important to note that our evaluation comes from two experiences several years apart. In 2023, after 78 years of marriage and 50 years in their home, my 98-year-old parents decided to move into an assisted living facility. Mary Beth and her team at "Caring Transitions Beach Cities" did a remarkable job of meticulously separating the items to be sold in their online auction, the items to be donated, and the things to be discarded. The speed with which they completed these tasks was amazing. They were also very attentive to the interests of the family, including identifying a few things that the family might still want. We are very grateful to Mary Beth for pointing out and saving several sentimental items that we had overlooked. The excellent organization and marketing of the auction items meant that we more than recouped the costs of the cleanup. Dave and Time4Change were there at the beginning when discussing the entire process from cleanup to sale, and once the cleanup was done, his ability to market and sell the house quickly for a very good price without ever staging an open house or putting out a "For Sale" sign was truly terrific. Dave and Mary Beth worked seamlessly to accomplish anything that needed to be done. It was literally no stress and no problem for us and our parents as sellers. Here is what makes our experience relatively unique: we have used them twice. About six months ago, my wife's parents died just a few weeks apart. My wife was the trustee/executor. She reached out to Mary Beth for some possible recommendations since the property was 400 miles away. Mary Beth immediately said that they would be happy to do this job for us. Once again, the speed, efficiency, and thoroughness of the cleanup was amazing. As they had done three years before, the online auction was so professional and clean that we again cleared more than the cost of the cleanup. In this case, however, the house had a significant level of deferred maintenance. Dave stepped in, identified what needed to be done to improve the marketability, and found and managed local contractors to do the deep cleaning, carpeting, painting, landscaping, and exterior embellishments. The online photos of the renovated home were absolutely the best of the 20 comparable properties that we researched. It sold for over list price on the first weekend that it was listed. Ironically, at that point we ran into a problem with the title which Dave was able to successfully resolve in just a couple of days, and escrow closed on time. Put simply, Mary Beth with "Caring Transitions Beach Cities" and Dave with "Time4Change Real Estate" are not only kind and caring, but they are exceptional problem solvers, tirelessly and seamlessly doing everything needed to facilitate downsizing, moving, and/or selling your house. We would absolutely use them again!
